Currently we are in Nilai right now.. having birthday celebrations.. sounds big isn't it?
Well, a niece and a nephew but we have to prepare the gift for 4 persons.. budak2 kan.. always and always wanted more than one.. haha.. for sure all of the gifts are totally same..
And today, we are still having guest come over.. you know the very last day of Syawal, most of people throw a makan2 or open house raya.. or weddings again? Hehe..
Myself and my niece? Aina just resting ovee in the room. I don't know what else should I do or what.. just having a rest.. hmm..

We are planning to go to island today. Just having a sightseeing.. but it is just a mall! Queensbay actually.. hehe..
After Subuh, Ive just got myself hard to move on and cook. Thinking for awhile for easy dish that simple and fast to serve. So, I think bout eggs, we did our grocery last weekend, so we have a lots of eggs.. teeheee..
Tempting right? Im a big rajin today, so I want to roll the eggs.. telur gulung I can say..
I give simple recipe here, ok?
We need;
1) 2 fresh eggs
2) 1 ripe tomato - diced
3) kuchai ** chives? leaves - chopped
4) A pinch of salt and pepper
How to?
1) heating up the wok. Slow fire.
2) lightly beaten the eggs. Add up tomato and kuchai also salt and pepper.
3) put a lil bit oil for greasing. Place the eggs inside and wait until the surface cooked.
4) 1st step to roll, just make it small turns, continuing to do it. But I just can do it 2 turns only.. heee

It has been a long time ago, that I wish that I can prepare nasi lemak in the morning. Well, I did it yesterday morning. Husband is the one who super happy that adding up his nasi ok!
Simple nasi lemak that I did include, nasi putih, telur rebus and sambal tumis ikan bilis! Owh forgot.. plus with ayam goreng rempah.. hehe..
For our lunch, Ive just adding it up with bak choy with fish sauce.. and it's my fav now.. hehhehe
And today special's was a choc chip cake..

Now we are heading to Ipoh, there are two weddings to be attend.. :-) so it will be husband's friends.
After Subuh, I was about to cook, the ingredients has been prepared yesterday. So, it could be easier and save time!
Ok, now I will share the recipe with all of you.. I learnt with my Mak *my MIL*, as I love to have her kueh teow.. sedaaappp wehh!
**for 2 persons
BAHAN :
1) Kueh teow *dalam 2 1/2genggam
2) Bawang besar - 1/2 biji dihiris
3) Bawang putih - 2 ulas, dihiris
4) Cili boh - 1 tbs *if nak pedas, add on
5) Kicap manis - 2-3 tbs
6) Sos tomato - 2 tbs
7) Sos cili - 1tbs
8) Telur - 1biji
9) Isi Ayam / udang - dlm 250gm **nak bubuh kerang or etc pun boleh..
10) Sayur sawi - 4-5 tangkai
11) Garam gula - 1tbs
12) Minyak utk menumis 2tbs
CARA-CARA :
1) Panaskan minyak. Tumis bawang besar dan bawang putih hingga kekuningan.
2) Masukkan cili boh dan tumis hingga kuar minyak.
3) Kemudian masukkan sos tomato, sos cili dan kicap manis. Kacau hingga sebati dan sedikit mendidih *simmer.
4) Masukkan isi ayam. Kacau.
5) Masukkan garam dan gula. Kemudian masukkan secawan air putih. Kacau dan biarkan mendidih. **if nak basah lebihkan air putih.
6) Pecah telur dan kacau. Masukkan kueh teow dan sayur sawi. Kacau bagi sebati. Sayur da layur, it's ready to serve!
Note :
Kalau rasa pedas atau terlalu basah, add on telur atau tambah kicap lagi.

Memandangkan hari ni Jumaat, so husband request nak makan yang lebih sihat.. lagipun hari ni nak masak yang simple je.. :-D
As mention on the title, hari ni masak ikan singgang.. kalai kt Johor, biasa panggil masak pindang.. ye ke? Sebab my mum called it so.. resepi and cara masak sama ja dengan panggil singgang or rebus or asam kunyit..
Bahan :
1) 4 ekor Ikan kembung/ ikut suka.. isi tenggiri pun ok..
2) Air asam jawa - asam jawa secubit
3) Bawang besar/ putih dihiris halus
4) Halia 1/2" dihiris halus
5) Kunyit secubit / kunyit hidup 1/2"
6) 1-2 Cawan air
7) Garam secukup rasa / 1tsp
Cara-cara :
- Masukkan air asam jawa, hirisan bawang merah dan bawang putih, halia, serbuk kunyit dan air direbus hingga mendidih
- Masukkan ikan, rebus hingga mendidih. Akhir sekali masukkan garam secukup rasa.
*** boleh tambah bendi, tomato or apa2 yang suka..
Tips: praktiskan dengan air direbus hingga mendidih sebelum masukkan isi seperti ikan atau ayam. Biasakan juga masukkan perisa di akhir masakan agar tidak menambah beberapa kali..

Lama jugak rasa xpost kt sini.. I was about to quit in blogging.. *sebab husband is around and sibuk memanjang* heehe..
Well, this morning lepas we had our quick breakfast.. for the first time pergi wet market kat pasar seberang jaya ni.. kat sini depa panggil pasar tu market! Style kan? Hehe.. IDK why tapi mula2 dengar tu pelik jugakla.. they all spoke in loghat utara.. tetiba market.. haa.. market ok..
Ok nak citer.. kt market tu biasa je la.. cuma boleh pilih ikan ape kita nak beli or kalau encik husband memang ikan kembung sahaja.. nak kata faveret pun tak jugak.. maybe senang dr ikan2 lain.. nak masak apa pun senang.. biasa aku goreng jekk.. heheh
So.. hasil kami hari ni.. ikan kembung 6 ekor n isi ikan 2 ketul.. and seekor ayam dibuang kulit..mudah sikit la bila nak cuci ayam nnti..:-D and few sayuran dan mee kuning serta kueh tiaw..
Pssssttt.. husband ai tak tau ai boleh masak mi or kueh tiaw ok.. hehhehe
Bila da beli suma ni.. masa utk menyiang ikan.. and mencuci ayam segala bagai..
Dulu masa zaman anak dara.. tak tahu pun nak kena cuci bagai ikan ni or ayam.. just basuh2 guna air bersih je.. bila da jadi suri rumah ni.. cara pun kena ubah jugak la..
TIPS : mencuci ayam/ikan
1) limau kasturi/ asam jawa **guna limau la yer.. asam mahal sikit kosnye.. haha
2) tepung terpakai/ kapur **balance tepung gandum ke or tepung lama..
3) Garam kasar..
Cara:
Cuci ayam/ikan or siang.. then bagi rendam with those ingredients dalam 10-20min.. nak bg hilang bau hanyir for ikan and nqk bagi lemak2 ayam tu di serap keluar.. then tos bagi kering.. da boleh masak or simpan dalam peti ais..
**kalau nak lg mudah.. divide seksiap ikut portion bape banyak yg selalu kita makan.. or limit.. kalau cmtu kita boleh jimat and kawal jumlah makanan yang kita ambil.. ok? :-)
