Assalamualaikum,..

dan hai!

Bukan senyap saja, post kuih kasturi pun tak tahu berapa lama yang dok peram sampai kuih kasturi pun lama dah habis, hihi.

Anak pokok Sawi
Anak pokok sawi ni disemai lepas kecewa kat pasar tiada sayur sawi segar. Sayur sawi yang ada pun kelayuan. Tak padan nak beli, bila beli jadi kekuningan lepas 2-3 hari.. haha

Ingatkan tak menjadi, disebabkan saya cuba semai benih pokok kucai tak naik langsung, rasanya kena cuba juga cara macam nak semai pokok sawi macam gambar di atas tu. Mungkin berjaya hasilkan pokok kucai!

Anak Pokok Lemon
Alhamdulillah, rasa teruja bila anak biji benih buah lemon ni berjaya sprouting, teruja sebab proses scratch from basic, peringkat germination tu paling sabar sangat² tau.. haha.. How to Grow Lemon Tree from Seed..

I'm not a fan of sour, less interest on jeruk thingy and everything bout sour things. Tapi anak-anak buah ni sakan.. haha.. sama macam pakcik dia, which is my husband. :P

About being silent..

Wednesday, April 15, 2015

Assalamualaikum,

dan hai,

Had to be silent again, hehe, sorry.

Nothing much to share sebab everything I do is still in progress. Like, I bought some seeds from overseas, and this is my first time, just wait for it sprouting is azaaabb! haha.

So this time round, I try to grow some seed from secret-V, some chai's seeds and persimmon's seeds. Seedling process could take time for awhile, and so the progress is so slow. So nothing much to share and I was juggling over here and there. T___T

A package from States

Seeds : V, Chai and persimmons

Maybe you will say why you want to grow persimmons right? Yeah I know, they want some cool and chill weather areas around 10°C to 20°C. I thought so, cause no persimmons grown in Malaysia. Haha. It is like why we can't rearing or breeding Salmon in our river here.

Instead of fish, I do persimmons that I bought months back where in its seasons might be around last Chinese New Year! Just only store bought when they are on sale! Before this, I placed the seeds in refrigerator for seedling as Youtube Guru said so! and last week, there is nothing happens just look so plumpy. LOL

So then, I Youtube-ed again on how to grow persimmon from seed. And then, they show another vids, that you had to cracked the outer shell of persimmon. Okay, already did it, and I had a handful of seed, then I am trying two methods, first, still seedling in a refrigerator, covered with moist kitchen towel in a sealed bag. Two, just you see above. Traditionally seedling process that require some medium and frequent spray-watering to keep it moist at all time. It's like I'm babysit this seeds now.

And not to forget, I try to grow avocado too. I find it quite pricey to buy it every alternate weeks or when they had stocks in market. RM5 each or RM2 each.. Menu-menu diet sekarang ni mahal jugak,. Kobis bunga pun mahal. haha.

I tend to grow it in natural way, with organic control pest or enhancer, baja lah tu. haha. Everything from scratch that coming from kitchen's leftover.

Saya ni tak berapa rajin, adalah process tu lag for few days! aahaha. SO, we shall continue this progress for next few weeks okay or until it already become a tree! *amin*

P.s

If anyone wants to try out or to make your own organic baja, boleh email me at jazzeyra.aj@gmail.com. There are actually there, and only you that require only an effort.

My little garden

Tuesday, March 24, 2015

Assalamualaikum,

dan hai,

It's been awhile from the last post right? Rather than cooking, baking or else. ehemm (movie-ing all day)

Part of it, I build a mini garden on spacious balcony. At first, I put it on our air-cond fan area outside our room. As they show progressions and grew so well, I transferred it to balcony area for getting more suns and space to grew more.

Just now, There are curry tree, chili tree (not yet produce), and bird's eye chili ( cili padi). I think it has been 6 months or above since I stay here, curry tree are my early starter to grow as I need it so much in a week especially when I cook curry (gulai ikan, pajeri terung, kari ayam). :D

Last few months, I want to find a good breed of kaffir lime tree. As early batch with curry, it can not survive in two months time. I thought it must been already dying when I bought it. So, just take time to find a good ones in Peladang. Usually there is flea market every weekend. I just bought there.

Alhamdulillah, everything is good, actually it only take your little time and effort to make this happens. So for me, I grew this for my preparations for next Eid-Fitr's day. Just need a to grow turmeric. I need turmeric's leaves for rendang.

My latest addition is to grow mint leaves. Hehe. For 1st phase I can call it succeed! Alhamdulillah. Can supply mint leaves to my morning tea. *happy dance*

For a new project, I tried a different type to grow the root. Also get it ready for leaving it in a week, so I have to prepare their own water supply. When I start with mint, it shows a good progress, the leaves became wider and look fresh! Just learnt here and there to make it happy greens alive! Maybe I will share with you how to do it on my first phase. Later k?

Ok that's for now. I hope it can stay still in a good conditions. Plan to go hometown for a week. Phewss~
