Salam dan hai

My first about to give a try for this cake. Mostly I search the recipes from kak Rima's blog bisouatoí. Credit to her. She had so much delicious cake recipes in her blog. Some recipes is a must-try.

Alhamdulillah till now, I've follow everything in the recipes and it turns so well. The rest is up to your very own presentations.

Cinnamon Swirl buttermilk Pound Cake

Ingredients

(A) Cinnamon Streussel Swirl
1/2 cup (60g) all purpose flour.
1/3 cup (72g) brown sugar
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
3 tbsp (42g) unsalted butter - melted

(B) Buttermilk Pound Cake
2 cups (242g) all purpose flour
1/2 cup (57g) cake flour
** used only plain flour with sums them 2 1/2 cup of plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 ground cardamom
1 cup (227g) unsalted butter
2 cups sugar (400g) - used only 260g
3 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp finely grated orange zest
1 cup (240ml) buttermilk - used 2 cup of 130ml yogurt

Method

1. Pre-heat oven to 170ºc / 325ºF. Grease pans or lines with baking paper. Used two loaf tins and two  6-holes-cupcake pans.

2. In a small bowl, whisk together sifted dry ingredients of cinnamon swirl. Add the melted butter and stir until blended well and crumbly.

3. Sift together the flours,  baking powder,  baking soda, salt and cardamom into a medium bowl. Whisk to combine and set aside.

4. Using paddle attachement, cream butter for 2 mins until very creamy. (2mins) Gradually add sugar & continue beat at medium high speed until pale and light. (4mins)

5. At medium speed, add one egg at a time.

6. Add vanilla essence and zest. Add in flour ( in 3 portions) alternating it with buttermilk (2 portions).

7. Pour the thin batter first before sprinkle the streussel and topped it with batter again. Can sprinkle some streussel on top.

8. Bake for 65 mins ~75 mins. I did only 30 mins as I filled thin layers in the loaf tins anf cupcakes.
